Big ups to Anakie team rider Phoebe Munro taking 2nd place in the open women division of the Hot-ham banked slalom on the weekend!!! Right behind Jade Critchlaw from Canada, Phoebe has the fastest women’s open time of any Australian competitor!
The event was a huge success put on by Capita snowboards, with the overall winner scoring entry into the famous Mt Baker Backed Slalom event!

The conditions at Mt Hotham made the course tough, and Phoebe had a great time, Anakie outerwear designer Erin Height also entered the contest, placing in the top 10, all in all it was a fun day!

The afternoon in the rail park ended not so well with Phoebe having a bad fall and getting a concussion, so if she is looking a little confused here at presentations that's why, but she is such an amazing girl, she bounced back for the after party at the Genny in true Hot-Ham style!
